The Momcozy BM04 5in Dual-Mode Smart Baby Monitor is listed at £149.99 on Amazon for Prime Day, £50 below its £199.99 recommended retail price. MadeForMums reports a 4.6 out of 5 review score and a Silver award in its 2025 Tech Awards, while noting occasional app delays and that an SD card is needed to record footage.
The Momcozy BM04 5in Dual-Mode Smart Baby Monitor is listed at £149.99 on Amazon for Prime Day, £50 below its £199.99 recommended retail price, according to MadeForMums. The deal is notable because the monitor also received a 4.6 out of 5 score in the outlet’s hands-on review and Silver in its 2025 Tech Awards; the promotion’s availability and price may change.
The advertised reduction is 25% off the stated RRP. MadeForMums says its parent tester used the BM04 with her 10-month-old for naps, overnight monitoring and travel. The review gave the product 4.6 out of 5 overall; its tester awarded full marks for ease of use, sound and picture quality. These are the publication’s testing results, not a guarantee of performance in every home.
The monitor combines a dedicated 5-inch parent unit with an app that can be used to view the camera remotely. The source describes the system as usable without Wi-Fi through the parent unit, with Wi-Fi available for app access. Listed features include a 2K camera, infrared night vision, 350-degree pan, 110-degree tilt, 2x and 4x zoom, two-way audio, room-temperature monitoring and built-in lullabies. Up to 20 family members can be given app access, according to the report.
There are limitations alongside the features. MadeForMums says its tester sometimes experienced slight delays in the app feed and often preferred the dedicated screen. An SD card is needed to record footage or take pictures, and the report says the monitor does not include the detailed sleep-analysis tools found in some premium smart monitors. The source also distinguishes Momcozy’s claim of up to 20 hours of parent-unit battery life from the tester’s experience: she reported at least nine hours without charging.
What the £50 Discount Offers
The lower advertised price makes the BM04 less expensive than it was at its stated RRP, while retaining the physical monitor and app option. For families who want a dedicated screen and the ability to monitor locally when internet access is unreliable, that combination is the main practical point of the deal, based on the features described by MadeForMums.
The review and award offer some evidence beyond a manufacturer’s specification list: MadeForMums says the device was tested by parents and received a 4.6 out of 5 score, as well as Silver for Best Baby Movement Monitor in its 2025 Tech Awards. Those results reflect that outlet’s testing and judging. They do not establish that the monitor is suitable for every household or replace checking its features, connection requirements and current price before purchase.

How MadeForMums Tested It
MadeForMums’ report draws on a product review involving a parent tester, Harriet, who used the camera with her 10-month-old son for everyday monitoring and while travelling. She rated set-up 5 out of 5 and gave top marks for sound and picture quality. The publication says set-up took her less than 10 minutes. A separate tester, Rachel, used it with her five-month-old and praised the picture and zoom in her assessment.
The BM04 also received Silver for Best Baby Movement Monitor at the MadeForMums Tech Awards 2025. The available source does not provide the full judging criteria or comparisons with every competing monitor, so the award should be understood as recognition within that awards programme rather than a claim that it is the best choice for all families.

Price and App Performance
The £149.99 price is a time-sensitive Prime Day listing, not a confirmed long-term price. MadeForMums says the deal price was correct when its report was published and warns that prices can change and products may sell out. The supplied information does not establish how long the offer will remain available, whether stock is limited, or whether the listing has changed since publication.
App performance may also vary: the review reports occasional delays but does not give a measured frequency or explain their cause. The source does not specify the SD card capacity required, the ongoing terms for app access, or how performance compares across different Wi-Fi conditions. Parents should check the current Amazon listing and product details before buying.

Check the Live Amazon Listing
Readers considering the offer can check Amazon for the current price, availability and product specifications, including the SD card requirement for recording. Because the source describes a temporary Prime Day promotion, the stated £149.99 price should be treated as the price at publication rather than a guarantee of what shoppers will see later.
MadeForMums points readers to its full BM04 review for the tester’s ratings of set-up, design, picture quality, battery life and value. No further promotion end date or subsequent price update is provided in the source material.
